Visionary Hispanic leaders joined together in 1982 to establish the University of Arizona Hispanic Alumni Club. The Club is part of the UA Alumni Association and has provided millions in financial aid to thousands of scholars.
Líderes hispanos visionarios se unieron en 1982 para establecer el Club de Alumnos Hispanos de la Universidad de Arizona. El Club forma parte de la Asociación de Alumnos de la Universidad y ha proporcionado millones en ayuda financiera a miles de estudiantes.
Forty years ago, a group of university students banded together believing unity brought strength. Their hard work raised funds to cover their tuition expenses and established an academic cohort dedicated to Hispanic student success.

The legacy and original mission of our founders continues today. What once began as a band of students has evolved to a community-wide impact. Our fundraising efforts have grown to include multiple endowments, scholarships, and tuition waivers.
